For the past year, I have worked as an IT Help Desk Agent assisting employees from nearly 700 Red Roof Inn hotels across the country. Between June and August 2022, I kept an Excel spreadsheet with data from over 1700 support calls.
My mission was to be able to analyze and draw conclusions from the data that would help me work more efficiently and with more anticipation. I used programs such as Excel, MySQL, Tableau, R, Python, and Power BI.
Through data visualizations, pivot tables, and SQL queries, I was able to create a dashboard displaying my findings and have learned a lot about the trends and patterns of calls and callers. See a few examples of the results below:
